Hi everyone.
So I had my first RE appt today and they do feel that I have PCOS. They did an ultrasound and he did notice a sac outside my ovary and said that could indicate ovulation (I'm hopeful). My uterus looks normal (yay). He said the lining was thin currently? not sure what that means. I didn't have any mature follicles that he could see. They also did some more blood work to determine if I did ovulate and to check for some additional things (progesterone levels).
My husband is to do a SA this week and then once I get my next period I have been given an RX for Letrozole and Ovidrel, (pending the results of the SA).
Im feeling hopeful yet nervous for it all. I'm sure most of us on here just hate "the wait" for things to happen.
Thanks for listening!
Re: 1st RE appt was today..
The wait is defintely what is killing me in this process! lol I had to go for bloodwork to determine if I was ovulating (which I found out I am not) and of course couldnt get the work up done until AF showed and she took her sweet ass time lol. Finally after so many months we are in the stages of Clomid and once again waiting to see if that works, so I definitely know how you are feeling....
Hang in there!

PAIF/SAIF Welcome!
Have you had an HSG done yet? If no make sure you do before starting any medicated cycles!
Good luck with all your other testing!
Cycle #17: Natural = BFN
Cycle #18: Bravelle 225iu + Trigger + IUI = BFN
Cycle #19: Natural due to cysts = BFN
Whether or not they do an ultrasound depends on your RE and where you are in your cycle. My first RE never would have done a ultrasound at the consultation. The consulatation was at a completely different hospital from where the office whre they do procedures is. My current RE apparently will do an ultrasound at the consultation, as I found out today. I would imagine if you are definitely past O, they wouldn't do an ultrasound because there wouldn't be much to see, but that is just a guess.

PAIF/SAIF Welcome!
Welcome to the board and I hope you get some answers and a plan from your RE visit and tests.
I agree the waiting is one of the worst parts about this whole IF thing.
