Valentines Day ideas

My ER is scheduled for sometime Feb 13-15, with ET somewhere around Feb 18-20. I'm just trying to come up with some good ideas for the hubby and I to celebrate Valentines day that weekend in between. Any good suggestions???
Married 8/14/10 * TTC since Aug 2010 * Met with RE in Feb 2012 * DH: low motility, low sperm count, elevated FSH * Me: Stage 4 Endometriosis * Laparotomy to remove endo in May 2012 * June 2012 - DH on Rx to hopefully increase count/quality * Re-tested sperm 10/22/12, count/quality have both dropped * IVF #1 w/ICSI * Transferred 2 beautiful embryos on 2/18/13 * Beta #1 3/1/13 - 636!!! Beta #2 3/3/13 - 1796!!! First ultrasound scheduled for 3/18/13 Image and video hosting by TinyPic birthday2012_small Anniversary

    My ER is schedule between 2/11-2/15 so we're just about the same dates!  I am nervous to plan anything because I don't know if it will interfere with ER so I'm glad to hear any suggestions you get.  
    Me (37) DH (39); PCOS changed to Unexplained, changed to DOR in 2012 (finally a correct diagnosis!); 
    Started TTC 2009 with RE after 6 months.  
    Clomid + Trigger x2; 
    IUI + Femara x1,
    IUI + Follistim x2;
    IVF #1 (MDL) February 2013- BFN.
    IVF #2 (antagonist) May 2013, First BFP of my life. 
    Identical twin miracle BOYS (!!) headed our way- due date is technically 2/4/14 but c section is scheduled for 1/7!

    I know this isn't what you are looking for but your post reminded me of last year. I had an ER on 2/15 and we were traveling out of state for the RE. We had to drive 5 hrs on the night of 2/14 since my ER was at 8am the next morning. We had a "very romantic dinner" at rest-stop Burger King on the Jersey Turnpike!  LOL. Hopefully we can do better this year..

    TTC #1 since 8/1/10; Me:41 and BRCA1+, DH:46
    DOR (FSH 24.3)/ terrible egg quality ; homozygous MTHFR c677t
    5 IUI's: 2/11 to 6/11 and 1/12= BFN
    OE IVF#1-4 8/11-6/12= all BFN
    DE IVF#1 11/12 bad embryos= BFN
    DE IVF #2 2/13 BFP/Beta hell: m/c 5w6d
    CFNBC 7 months, not doing well; decided on guarantee program at RBA w/frozen DE
    DE IVF #3 1/14  ET 4BB; BFP;M/C 5w1d, incomplete m/c; MVA extraction in ER 7w1d

    DE FET#1 ET 3/1714; BFP, beta 1 3/27= 197, beta 2 3/31= 1586, beta 3 4/7= 13879!!
    First u/s= Twins with HBs at 6w2d! We are Team Pink x 2!!

    K & K born 11/21/14 at 38wks 4 days

    Please Mrs. McIrish, everything about NJ is romantic :)  Dh an I had our first kiss on Feb 2 so we celebrate Groundhog Day instead of Valentines Day.  Everything is less crowded and it is like having our own little holiday.  So that is what I suggest.  Valentine's Day can be any day as long as you are with your Valentine.

    DH actually proposed to me on Feb 11th, so we've gotten into a habit of celebrating that day instead. Not that we really do a whole lot anyway. But that's kind of become our day to celebrate when we do. I just don't know how I'm going to be feeling all drugged up on stims that week this year.

    I thought I may be the only jersey girl around here, guess not. :) 

    my 1st IUI was around valentines' day so i guess its appropriate my first IVF is also.  my birthday is 2 weeks before so maybe we'll must combine them and go to a restaurant.

    I'm corny, but maybe you can make him something ahead of time that you could present that weeked.

    How about a book of the ABCs of why you love YH? You could use scrapbook stuff and have a page with a letter that corresponds to a reason you love him.

    Or maybe make a coupon book for favors you'll give him? Back rub, fancy dinner cooked, etc? Good luck!

     2/11/13 - DEmbryo FET #1 Thawed four, sadly two didn't survive. Transferred two beautiful blasts. 
     2/16/13 - First BFP of my life @ 6dp5dt! EDD 10/30/13
     3/27/13 - After beta and u/s hell, no heartbeat ever detected. D&C at 9w1d.

    6/5/13 - Adopted four new embryos that had been frozen for seven years!      
    9/12/13 - DEmbryo FET #2. Thawed and transferred two beautiful blasts
    9/17/13 - BFP @ 5dp6dt! EDD 05/31/14
     9/29/13 - m/c @ 5w1d. :(

    11/19/13 - DEmbryo FET #3. Thawed and transferred one blast from each batch. Wow!
     11/23/13 - BFP @ 4dp6dt! EDD 8/7/13
    Beta #1 @ 13dp6dt - 522  Beta #2 @ 16dp6dt - 1373 
    6w5d ultrasound showed one perfect baby with a beautiful heartbeat of 134bpm!

    Snowflake baby is a girl!
