Encephalopathy?

Our girls SW called this morning to talk about a couple medical forms I'd turned in last week, one being from the neuro. She said that the neuro form had codes on it and when she had the nurse check, one of the codes was for encephalopathy. The neuro didn't discuss this with me but there is concern of possible Shaken Baby Syndrome, could that be what he is referring to?

We are at the hospital now waiting to be called back for MRI which will hopefully give us some answers.

Hi, encephalopathy is a generic term and refers to any brain abnormality, disorder etc., so that would cover SBS.
