Knot on head?

I noticed a few nights ago that Kaiden has a pea size knot on the base of his skull.
Lylah had a similar one on the back of her neck, which turned out to be a swollen lymph node. No big deal, went away after a few months.
But this one seems like its on the skull... Is there a lymph node there? Ideas? He has his 15 month tomorrow, so I will ask. But you know that Mommy worry thing...

 On further review- looks like there is a lymph node there. (Region #1) so I'm going with swollen lymph node. Being a BTDT saves me again!

hope thats what it is. I have a permanently swollen lymph node on my neck. When I'm actually sick it looks like i have a goiter. Okay, maybe not that bad, but it feels like it.

whew! That sounds uncomfortable.

And then I wasn't too worried, and my mom calls and freaks me out about it!

Before I could respond my lymph node and E had the exact same thing it had already been posted. Here went away gradually and now it is completely gone.
