Re: TTC Check-in

  • I really don't think anything happened this cycle for us.

It's been really wonky this month.  FF had said I O'd on CD 9 (which was 12/26), now its saying I O'd on CD 23 (which was 1/9)... yeah... wonky...

So onto next month! I should be starting my period tomorrow (1/16) and if I do, and we become pregnant this next cycle, my EDD would be October 23rd. (*If I start tomorrow, and O on my *usually* normal CD 13/14*)  I would LOVE to have #2 in October, but obviously it doesn't matter when, just as long as we are able to have a #2.

So, FX this next cycle works for us!

  • This is the last month of depo for me.  Really really interested to see how my body reacts come February 1st.  Praying I get my first post depo period next month since my periods have always been 28 days like clockwork, but there's a huge chance depo will have messed up my system. Just trusting and praying that God's will is done in my life and my body. I hope this is your month, OP.

  • I was on it for 2 cycles.  So, 6 months total.  For the first 5 months I had a light period every 1st of the month.  This month, nothing :(

That's exactly why most people go on depo.  So their periods stop.  Leave it to me to take it and decide half way through that I want another baby :/

  • Yeah, I was on it for almost 6 years... (no dr. ever told me you shouldn't be on it longer than 3 years...nice huh?)  The no periods were great, especially since I get really bad cramps (I have to take 1,000mg of hydrocodone w/ codeine twice a day, just to take the edge off, but it still doesn't take them all away.)

Sorry, the pharmacist in me has to say that if you took 1000mg of hydrocodone with codeine, you wouldn't be breathing! I'm sure you mean some sort of hydrocodone-apap product, and the 1,000mg is probably the APAP (ie, tylenol). Smile

I start Sunday my FET (frozen embryo transfer) birth control pills, shots start in February, and hopefully a transfer on March 7th.

  • we are officially starting this week. so excited to see what happens. I hope we get preggo next month cause then I will have all the holidays off this year :)

  • Not TTC but am struggling with thinking about having a second munchkin. Being almost 40, living in a 2 bedroom house and financial strain are all factors that say it's not a great idea, but I am really starting to wish for some change in housing/finances in the next year. (well, I'd love to get younger too, but I won't hold my breath on that one)
