Ugh, posting at 5 am because baby Ben keeps breaking out of the swaddle and waking up. We are in that sucky in between stage where the s/m swaddle mes are too small, so the velcro won't reach, and the larges are too big, so he can get his arms out. Bleh.
Anyway, today is Toss it Tuesday, where you focus on an area of your house to clean with the concentration on trhowing away.
I am tackling my apothecary table. It's in my entry hallway and holds really random things like batteries, lightbulbs, pens, sunglasses, etc. It needs some form of organization. I bought a bunch of little drawer dividers at homegoods on Sunday and plan on putting them to use today during A's nap. It will feel so good to fix all those drawers!
Re: Toss it Tuesday
Haha JC Penney actually.
Hmm...are there any other time periods besides Colonial times, Rachel?
Oh you know. Yore. And uh, yesteryear...
I'm not here much but as for your swaddle problem, look up the escape proof swaddle on youtube. That should get you through! I remember that dreaded issue!
I have a pile of loose papers from my desk that was just piled up into a bag and shoved in a closet during my last-minute 'cleaning' for B's birthday party. I pledge to sort through that bag tonight.
I'd forgotten about that Friends episode. Yore, heh.

Apothecary chest done!
I get these huge boxes for when I get a Freshdirect grocery delivery. I filled up an entire one with garbage that I pulled out of there. Empty lightbulb and battery containers, empty boxes of my H's prescriptions, about 100 non-working pens, and just general mayhem. And the weird thing is, the chest is still filled...so where was all that??? Just crammed into drawers.
Yay for a completed project!
How satisfying!

Ps... Haven't thrown anything away yet!
Yay! That's great.
I decluttered my master bedroom. Phew!
come on, if you haven't done it yet, take a half an hour after your kid goes to sleep! Let's help each other!
And thanks for all the swaddle suggestions too, ladies The miracle blanket is sooo expensive, but maybe my SIL still has hers that she wouldn't mind giving me. I'll also look up the swaddle technique on youtube.
Way too expensive! I just folded an extra piece of cloth behind his back and around his arms. Free miracle Blanket!
