DS will be 3 in February and his big thing right now is super heroes, pretty much any and all superheroes....
Any ideas, tips, suggestions etc for making a 3 year old party "super hero" besides decor/plates? Also, where to find such fun things? I thought about getting all the kids little super hero masks but not sure from where?
Can you name more super heroes? Batman, superman, flash, green lantern, hulk, cat woman, Wonder Woman, iron man, SpiderMan.... ???
TIA
Re: Tips for a superhero bday party...
You could decorate capes!
Ironman drinks a lot of booze.
If I got stuff to make masks or capes you think I could make them preparty so the kids can just play when they're here or would that take all the fun away and they should decorate themselves?
[just thinking realistically, and feel like letting them make their own would be a huge mess and hassle not quite sure if we'd have time to do it because the table they'd use, is the table the kids would eat on.... Blahblahblah Decorating, cleaning up, eating then cake and presents... I'd rather them run and play for the extra time. Just ordered a bounce house to keep in basement and hoping its a big hit]
My photographer had an awesome pin board on superhero birthday ideas. I saw pics of his party after, and she really brought that shiz to life.
you can get already done super hero masks on amazon.
If you bought a ton of fabric and precut all the capes and then have them decorate them that would be awesome!
Super hero cake could even be a sheet cake with gotham city on it.
Or cupcakes with super hero toppers.
There are SO many options right now with all the super hero movies coming out!
Ugh. Pintrest. Why didn't I think to look there... Oh, probably cause everything "pintrest" I try turns out FAIL :[ boo.

We are doing a Super Why! birthday party for DD in two weeks. We're decorating felt capes that I got off of Etsy ($6 bucks each). I have cut out a big letter for each of them (for their name) on sticky felt. I have other random sticky felt shapes for them to put on their cape.
Her party is at the children's museum so we only have time to decorate capes and to eat cake before they are set loose in the museum.
I might cut the neck and add Velcro, bc I'm paranoid about strangling, but it's simple.
I love that idea, BUT I feel much more inclined to a license theme free party. Again you can include a licensed theme subtly with this comic book banner turoria, that would look awesome either way:

here another cute party. The blog sntry includes vendor credits:

And as PP said, Pinterest is your friend.
