nap time was a breeze today he took a 2 hour nap without an issue. bedtime has been hell so far! 45 minutes of kicking and screaming at the door! please tell me i'm doing the right thing and it will get better!

I assume this is with your older LO? You are doing the right thing, it gets worse if you wait until they are older.  Took my kids 3-4 days to adjust.  We gave them loveys to help replace the paci

yeah its with the older one, he had been biting pieces off so we had to do it. he is a fighter though, he already woke up the baby with his kicking and screaming at the door.
