What are you moms of boys doing (or planning to do) for PTing?  Standing from the beginning or sitting first?

We recently realized that when DS goes into the bathroom with me he sits and with H he stands (and attempts to straddle the little potty lol).  I think we need to focus on one or the other until he's farther along but I'm not sure which.

He sits most of the time but occasionally he will ask to stand.

We haven't started yet (I'm dreading it) but will start with sitting. That's what the websites I've read have suggested since they have a difficult time telling when they need to sit to poop from stand to pee...

DS sits.  I figure, focus on one skill at a time.  He can learn to stand and aim once he's a pro!

Sit and thankfully that's what DC does too.

We are a long way off from PTing but we're going to start with sitting.

We are a loooong way away, but I've always assumed we'd start with sitting.  I guess I should go talk with DH to make sure he feels the same way.

we're sitting. He straddles the toilet. I tried to get him to use the trainer potty but the logistics of it weren't working and he pretty much won't do anything his big sister doesn't do.
