Question for Pregnant Moms

How many of you got pregnant right away once you started trying again or how many of you it took a little while?

 I know everyone is different and there are lots of facts but just curious.

Also right away for us however a friend of mine took over a year to get a BFP for #2.

I never went on birth control after having DS. I EBF until 12 Months. AF returned at 7 months. Had 3 periods before getting preg again. So 4 cycles, I guess.

It took 9 months for us.  It only took 3 with DS.

I'll say right away...but that was after I went back to Reiki (which is how I got pregnant with DS the first time after 2 years of trying. Been off birth control since January 2012, was ready but not gut-deep ready so it didn't happen. As soon as I truly felt ready, it happened within the month. Again, Reiki helped tremendously.

Oh whoops..I didn't specify....got pregnant in August after "feeling ready" in July.

We weren't trying so I suppose my vote is for right away. AF returned at 6 months pp, even though I'd been EBF. We were charting to avoid but I missed a super early ovulation and BAM, little boy is on his way. :]

I'm not pregnant, but Nick was my #2 and we didn't try at all. I exclusivley breast with Timmy for 13 months and never got my period back. I had my annual OB appointment, they asked if there was a chance of pregnancy I said, "no "and they said," surprise you are"

And I was never on BC

Same infertility issues I had the first time...pregnancy fixed nothing.  Only took less time for #2 because we went straight back to our RE and did FET rather than trying less agressive stuff first.  Still took 6 months if you count the month off after surgery.

We got pregnant on the first try both times. We are very blessed to be so fertile.

We talked about it for a while before we started trying... We tried 1 month of not preventing, and 3 months of charting and OPKs before we got our BFP.

With DS1 it took 2 months of charting and OPKs to get our BFP. So it took a little longer this time, but not too bad!

It only took us the first time trying with DS. It took us 4 months from when we started trying. I didn't get AF until August 2012 and never got a positive OPK until November's cycle, which is the one we got our BFP.

It took 13 months for AF to return. I stopped taking the pill after 9 months with hopes that soon my body would figure out that I wanted more kids! I only had 2 periods (45 days apart) between DD's birth and my BFP.

This, except I got my period back at 9 months.

Wasn't trying. Got pregnant this past November while on birth control. I was prescribed antibiotics that compromised the effectiveness of the BC.

It was pretty shocking. I know, they have those warnings on the antibiotics all the time but we tried for DS from 2006 to 2010 with fertility treatments...so this was very very unplanned. But welcome!

The first time I got pregnant the second cycle off BC with a chem preg then got pregnant with DD the next month (3rd cycle).  This time I got pregnant second cycle off BC and it stuck.  I never charted just used OPKs.

DD took 3 years, and 7 rounds of various forms of ART.

I got my period back at 4.5 PP after having DD. I had planned to go back to the RE the next summer after I weaned, but TTC the old fashioned way in the meantime. Conceived DS naturally 3m later.

How freaking CUTE are your kids!!! I want C's hair. 

Regarding the question in the post, we are on month 3. If it doesn't happen this month we are taking a break til March so I can concentrate on the Bar Exam.

We are on month 3 of TTC here too. With DD, it took 6 months.
