Question for those who have had m/c.

Has your hcg ever rose before going down?  I am pretty sure mine is still rising.  I I am having major pregnancy symptoms and it really is a cruel joke.  Since it is inevitable, I just want it to happen.  My m/c's happened pretty quickly in the past, can it really drag on for weeks?

    I am sorry :(

    Mine happened pretty fast too...less than a week.  However my best friend'sdragged out almost a month.  Hope you can move on soon....

    I never had my levels checked again after they started going down the first time so I am not sure but I also wanted to say I'm sorry for what you are going through, it isn't easy no matter how it happens but dragging out like that is the worst.  hang in there.

    I'm so sorry you are going through this.  Mine did rise, but I did not m/c until 10 weeks and it was due to a chromosomal abnormality- we had seen the hb twice.  It was a complete shock.
    BFP #1- 12/3/09, EDD- 8/7/10, Missed M/C at 8 weeks & D&C- 1/5/10, BFP #2- July 2010, Baby Charlie Born March 29, 2011, BFP #3- 4/12/12- EDD- 12/21/12, Missed M/C at 10 1/2 weeks 5/29/12, D&C 6/1/12- testing results showed triploidy, IF testing all normal, February 2013- IUI#1, femara, follistim, trigger =BFN, March 2013- IUI#2, femara, follistim, trigger= BFP #4, 3/20/12, Beta#1 16dpo= 397, Beta #2 18dpo= 1037, Beta#3 24dpo= 11,589- EDD 11/30/13- It's a Girl!!!     My levels never rose, they just fell drastically. Was a 34 then 3 days later it was a 4. My heart and thoughts are with you through this tough time! I wish you the best!

    TTC #2 since 2009 Have PCOS two close calls with letrozole and hcg trigger. Hoping 3rd time does the trick... Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker

    I am so sorry for your loss.  This totally sucks and I am right there with you.  I mc on December 1st.  My numbers started to drop slowly.  When I went for an HCG check on December 26th they went back up from a 45 to 202!  I thought for sure I got pregnant on my own.  Turns out it was residual tissue from the mc.  What a rollercoaster ride of emotions!  They gave me Misoprostol to try to get rid of the tissue.  I has bad cramping but never any more bleeding.  I finally got AF last Wednesday and my numbers are starting to go down again.  I just want it all over with and it is so hard when it takes so long.  So I am sorry to say but from my experience it can go on for a few weeks.  Good luck to you.
    Dx PCOS Three cycle of Clomid- BFN HSG- clear 6/09-Follistim and HCG IUI on 7/7/09 BFN 7/09- Follistim and Ovidrel IUI on 8/11/09 BFP! beta #1-342 beta #2-717 Joey was born on 5/5/10 Trying for #2 since 6/12 6/12- Gonal F and Ovidel IUI on 7/10. BFN 8/12- Gonal F and Ovidrel. IUI on 8/10. BFN 9/12- Gonal F and Ovidrel IUI BFN 10/22 Gonal F, Menopur, Ganirelex 11/4 trigger 11/6 ER 14R 10F 11/11 ET transferred one 4AA embryo beta 11/20! BFP Betas stop multiplying . m/c at 5 weeks moving on to FET if my numbers ever get back to 0!

    I am so sorry!I had one miscarriage with one slow temp and then it dropped drastically! I am holding out hope for you still! My sister had temps of 50, 55. 57 then 154 with my neice who will be 2 in March! Have they done more bloodwork? Hugs

    I'm lurking over here but thought you might want to hear my experience.  I had a D&C after finding out the baby's heart had stopped.  It took about 4 months for my HCG levels to drop to <5 (negative) and they did go back up after going down for awhile.  It was really frustrating but I did get pregnant with my second son the first cycle after they finally went negative.  I think in a way it was good because I really needed those several months to recover emotionally as well, but of course I didn't feel that way at the time.

    I miscarried at 9 weeks and we had already seen a heartbeat, although growth was behind.  My HCG levels about 10 days before the miscarriage were pretty high, like 25,000 or something like that.  The RE also told me that HCG is a very stable hormone so it can take a long time to leave your body.  It's good that it's stable, except when you want it gone.  Good luck, I am sorry for your loss.

    I am sorry you are going through this. 

    I got BFP 12/31 and bled 1/4-1/5 and then it stopped and my beta rose but only hovered around 150.  Still hovering but I started bleeding yesterday and it is now going down. I would be about 6 weeks today. The u/s showed no sac/fetal pole.
