I am looking for first names for boys that go well with the middle name Jerome or Joseph (after my father).
Our last name is pronounced rousal (take the A off of arousal), but is spelled Rowsell. I think because our last name is difficult to say according to the spelling, a child might be better off with a shorter, or more common first name. What do you guys think?
Thank you!
Re: Help with boys names, please :)
I think you are so smart for going with a more typical first name, but I don't think it has to be short. I love the middle name (Joseph) and the last name (not that there is a lot of choice in the matter). How about a name like Christopher Joseph Rowsell? And you can call him CJ for short or Chris.
Do you like top ten names or are you the kind of person who trying to stay out of the top 100? Can you give some names that you do like, even if you know you won't name your LO it.
First name suggestions that go well with your mns:
Benjamin
Alexander
Christopher
Gavin
Charles
Thomas
Timothy
Michael
William
Milo
Leo
Wow, thanks for the quick replies.
I really like traditional names, but my husband does not. I also like a lot of modern names also though. I also love names that begin with R (Rory, Reece and Rowan), but I am afraid of having a FN and LN with the say beginning.
In our family we have boys named: Conner, Dylan, Christopher, Brycen, Ryan, Sean, Riley, Matthew, and Benjamin.
I love Alexander, which I had not thought of before. I also love William, but my name is Jillian and I think Jill and Will might be too corny. Lol.
