Hello - can anyone recommend some good relaxation songs or CDs for labor? I really like the music they use during prenatal yoga and probably would enjoy some nature sounds as well. I'm going to ask my prenatal yoga instructor what music she uses but thought this board might have some good suggestions too.
I was thinking about using some instrumental hymns (no words, just the piano and such). I tried music with words last time and it annoyed me to no end. I turned it off after about an hour into active labor.

Re: Good relaxation music?
I bought this https://www.amazon.com/Serenity-Relaxing-Therapy-Relaxation-Meditation/dp/B0092YR59Y/ref=sr_1_2?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1358128797&sr=1-2&keywords=serenity+relaxation
initially thinking it would be great b/c I love the massage/spa type music. It's got the water sounds and instrumentals and all that.
But I looked at DH just yesterday and said that I honestly rather have Shinedown playing than this. Shinedown relaxes me more LOL
