I had a Csection due a pushy dr not wanting to work on his day off and didnt let me try a second round of pitocin. (dont get me started.)
I will 99% need to be induced early with my next pregnancy as well for medical reasons. Is it true that most doctors wont let you VBAC with an induction?

I just had a vbac. My water broke on its own at 36w but I was only 1cm when I got to the hospital. They used a foley bulb plus lighter doses of pitocin than they would use if it were not a vbac.
This exactly.

I had my membranes stripped, which did nothing. Then I had a pit induction from 1cm with no contractions. 9 hours later, I pushed out the baby.
It's all about finding the right provider.
This will vary by practice and by patient. With my second I was originally told by my practice that induction would not be an option if I didn't go into labor on my own. But I ended up progressing enough on my own that when I was showing elevated blood pressures in my 37th week (with pre-e in my first) induction was on the table. I had dilated to 3 cm on my own, meaning I wouldn't need cervadil, which is a huge factor in whether or not induction is possible. My OB this time (moved so I had to switch practices) has said that he will do his best to induce rather than perform a C even though I'm already on bedrest with a diagnosis of mild pre-e. It's very likely I'll be induced once the pre-e gets too bad to let me stay pregnant. So it's not out of the question, but it varies by doctor.
As others have obviously states, it varies by doctors.
My OB will only use foley bulb as a way to induce labor and small doses of pitocin. She also will not induce if I have zero progress myself.

And even if he did, I wouldn't allow it. I'd rather have a repeat CS at 42w than have pitocin wreak havoc on my body again. This is a personal decision based mostly on how I reacted to pit last time; but also due to the increased risk of rupture associated with pit.
This exactly. I did not have a good reaction to the pit last time. I will never get it again.
My practice requires that I have a c/s put on the books at 42 weeks and just hope and pray that I go into labor on my own before then.
