Does anyone use these? Would you recommend them? How are they cost-wise compared to disposables or other cloth diapers? I am looking around at options for LO2. Our daycare can't handle cloth diapering, but these seem to be a good middle ground.
ETA: And I am a moron. I completely meant to post this on the cloth diaper board...carry on.
Re: gDiapers
I used them with DD and they are more expensive and do leak onto the outer cloth or the liner. They were okay....not horrible but not amazing.
With DS I did swaddlebees all in one. No stuffy ....just put it on like a regular diaper and take it off just like a disposable (just don't throw it away)
there is a quick video

We love our g-diapers! Been using them since birth and baby is now over 1 year old. We bought generic prefolds to stuff into the liners, instead of using the g-diaper brand. Prefolds are $2 each, vs. g-diapers $6 each. We bought 3 dozen and wash them 2x per week. The infant size prefold has lasted this whole time, and we have not had to re-purchase. The cool part is that for daycare, you can just buy a pack of the disposable refills. The daycare people will just toss those during the day. Packs of disposables cost $15.
We use cloth refills at home, then use the disposable refills when we're out. This system works for us and we don't have to carry around nasty dirty diapers. BTW, the disposable refills are flushable!
The only time we had leaks was when we baby squirmed too much and we had the diaper on crooked. I just can't rave enough about g-diapers...
PS--Although not needed, you can buy a pack of extra snap in liners. That way you won't run out if baby has a blowout.
Thank you so much! That is really helpful info!
