any recs for a daddy diaper bag other than Diaper Dude? I thought those were supposed to be some of the best, and maybe it's just the ones we saw, but we looked at them at BBB and were not impressed with the quality at all...

Re: Daddy bags
We got a Skip Hop backpack for DH's diaper bag. It is awesome and I actually like it better than my skip hop (almost) as it provides terrific orgainziation but honestly, it doesn't get much use. I did ask DH if he wanted to return it and just use one of the zillion backpacks that we have but he said he actually wanted to keep the diaper bag. Right of passage, I guess.
Bottom line is that backpacks make AWESOME dad's diaper bags. Check out Skip Hop's or use what you already have.
My husband just uses the baby's diaper bag...All purple roses and all. He doesn't care lol.
if your hubby wants his own my hubby loved when I used to use a Columbia back pack diaper bag from BRU. I don't know why the reviews aren't better I've never had a problem with mine and have had it for 3 years, it still works perfect and looks brand new.

This! Also, you can buy a diaper pad and a cooler bag for less than 10 bucks and just stick in whatever bag or backpack you already have.
I have this same backpack for me and I love it. I recently purchased it as I grew tired of my messenger bag. It's easy to keep organized and so easy to chase after a toddler while carrying it.
I just wanted to add that I got my DH a Diaper Dude, and I got my own diaper bag. We stopped using mine at 3 months and exclusively use the Diaper Dude, which I never thought I'd use. I LOVE it. Works great, lots of pockets, not too deep. Has held up quite well, and we have traveled with it as well. I would highly recommend.
I think this is a great idea!
