What are you eating for dinner?
I've been stuck in lazy mode all day. All I've done is let in the grocery delivery guy so lazy I ordered our groceries online for delivery, watch movies, nap, and snack.
I don't feel like cooking, so I'm debating between a peanut butter and jelly sandwich or a peanut butter and apple sandwich., although I've never made the latter.
Does anyone have any easy crockpot recipes to share? I need to get out of this funk. Thanks!
Re: Question...
That sounds good. I think I'll steal your idea.
Mmmmm....grilled cheese....that sounds yummy, too
I'm having shrimp in a cream sauce .... can't wait.
Had mashed potatoes and chicken gravy for lunch .... that's the most I've eaten in a while.

I didn't even think about Pinterest! I'm sure they'll have recipes there!
LOVE Pinterest!
Me, too! I've already got so many ideas for LO's room! I'm a bit of a Pinterest addict, lol.
*groan* that does sound good. But I still want that grilled cheese.
That sounds awesome. This morning I could've killed for something like that! Had pasta instead, which was still good but not the same.
I had a huge bowl of ravioli and buitoni alfredo sauce (it's like hangover food for me) and a huge plate of crinkle cut french fries. I had cereal (honey bunches of oats) for breakfast. I've been skipping meals again since I'm back to not feeling well. I have to ask DH what he wants cause I also don't even feel like cooking. I imagine we'll go out for something tonight.
BBQ chicken wings, waffle fries, and edamame for me! Gotta get one superfood in today!
Hope you feel better! I know it might be tough, but maybe trying something with a little sugar might help. Or some Gatorade to help with your electrolytes?
That sounds awesome! Gonna try that once my unfortunate taco aversion is gone!
Agreed!!
Now, I'm craving mashed potatoes and white gravy homemade. Too bad that's not gonna happen! I keep craving big pretzels too. Maybe tomorrow. I have some ginger snaps so I'll just have to make do with those or some apples.
I heard something about Gatorade being a no-no, but I had some ginger ale and it actually helped a little bit. I cannot stomach anything protein related, which is a little disturbing. However, I talked to my OB's nurse, and she said to concentrate on liquids and eat as much as I could stomach. Nausea and ms suck.
Mmmmmm...grilled cheese and cookie dough.
Confession: I ate 2 slices of cookie dough last night. And the night before that. And maybe during the day as well. I heated them in the microwave for 11 seconds to get the perfect slight warmth. I know it is a no-no, but I am not that strict. I have never been sick from coookie dough before.

Really? I never heard that before. I just did some googling and web md said it was ok for m/s, but some other sites said it's ok just as long as t's the original kind and not the kind with all the added stuff. Maybe ask your ob if some plain yellow Gatorade would be ok? I did read on previous posts about people drinking ensure at night to help with nighttime m/s, and my dr told me to take a certain kind of Unisom to help. It actually helps me through the next day, too.
I wanted to get an Oreo and cookie dough blizzard the other day. I was soooooo tempted!
My easiest and favorite crockpot recipe is this:
1 Cup Salsa
1Can Cream of Chicken soup
1 pkt (or 3-4 TB of Taco seasoning)
Chicken breast-thawed (I normally put in 2..but it's only DH and I)
8oz of sour cream
-----we serve it over rice but you could serve it in a tortilla or as the filling of your enchilladas---
Combine all the ingredients in the crockpot EXCEPT for the sour cream. Cook on high for about 4 hours or until the chicken is cooked. Remove the chicken, shred it, and return it to the crock pot. Add the sour cream. I let it kinda stew in there for another hour ish....We the serve it over rice.
SO easy and I love that the ingredients are all ones that I have in my house nearly ALLL the time.
