My doctor with DS#2 asked if I wanted a mirror to watch my c-section. I didn't know that was an option and said yes. It was pretty cool to watch DS come out. That kind of stuff doesn't bother me. I watched everything from start to when they sewed me up. If you don't have a weak stomach, you should ask your doctor if that is an option for you. I plan on watching again her for DD's c-section.
Re: So who is watching their own c-section?
Not even if they paid me to watch it!
My blood pressure couldn't handle seeing my own insides

I wasn?t offered a viewing of my CS, but I saw it all reflected in the OR lights above me.
Well, almost all. I turned away when it came to pulling our boy out.
I needed something to focus on as it was an unplanned CS, hubby wasn?t allowed to be with me, and I was really freaking out.
I plan to watch mine! They put the standard blue tarp up while doing the actual cutting, but then change to a clear one for the rest of the birth. I am THRILLED that I will get to witness my children enter the world!
I don't get queasy about stuff like that. We'll see how DH does
