We are having to supplement with formula and I have a bottle of similac advanced in the fridge and wasn't sure how long it was good after opening. Thanks!
When we had to start supplementing, DD would only take the ready-to-eat type of Similac for a while- it took her a good week to start accepting the powdered stuff. I was feeling like buying those quart-sized bottles was gonna break the bank! Instead, I started buying the 'travel size' RTE Similac... it's sold in a pack of six bottles, and each bottle was 8 ounces. I would just pour what I needed from the small bottles and only open new bottles as I needed... I wasted a lot less that way.
Re: How long does ready to eat formula last in the fridge?
Darn. I am only needing 1-2 ounces a feeding.
This might be a super stupid question, but can I freeze it like breast milk?
This is correct. I do not believe you can freeze it.
