Hey Ladies, I recently had rotator cuff surgery, and currently I take hydrocodone for pain...what are your experiences or similar situations with taking pain meds other than tylenol....thanks.
I took percocet as needed for years for endometriosis and I liked it, I never had any issues with it, I prefer motrin though if you can take it. Just make sure you have some food in your stomach when you take narcotics, an empty stomach can make you sick and the effects a lot stronger.
I took hydrocodone for the first time (and have never taken any other narcotics) after delivery due to a painful infection. I found it to be very powerful. To the point where I would have to get up slowly from sitting or laying down because I would pass out if not. But definitely controlled the pain very well. Also I asked the pedi about it and she said it was "ok" for bf'ing moms but didnt want to be on it any longer than needed.
