Lutheran General vs. Resurrection Medical Center

Please share your experiences with Lutheran General in Park Ridge or Resurrection Medical Center in Norwood Park. I'm booking visits for both hospitals but would love any available inside info! TIA.

I have delivered 2 kids at Lutheran (my third will be in August).  I've loved it each time, even though my first was still in the old wing.  The nurses are great, which is important since they're with you the most.  They have a Level III NICU if needed as well.  

And the best part?  Both of my first meals after delivery were Portillo's LOL.  

My grandfather has been at Resurrection many many times in the last few years (including 3 different weeks long stints from April 12 to October 12) and although I didn't visit the labor/delivery and maternity wings, for me it's no comparison.  If I had a choice I wouldn't ever choose Resurrection.

My best friend delivered at Lutheran and had a great experience.  I've heard nothing but good things about Lutheran.  That being said, I've been to Resurrection before (the ER) and was not at all impressed.  It was dirty and they were really slow.  I'd go with Lutheran for sure.
