Another lurker question

We had our first ultrasound Wed. at 6w 4d and were surprised to find out there are two babies in there!  (I did one round of 50mg clomid to fix a luteal phase defect so I knew it was possible, but still surprised!)

 My question: one baby measured 6w 4d with a HB of 132, and the second was measuring a little behind at 6w 1d and HB of 122.  I've been googling too much and have seen good and bad stories.  I know I need to relax and wait until my next u/s in 3 weeks, but I'm just looking for a little reassurance.  Does anyone have similar stories?  My RE did not seem concerned at all and released me to my regular OB.

At 6w4d, my babies heartbeats were 126 and 122, so yours are great! My measurements are always off by a few days, it's totally normal.

I don't have a similar story, but I don't think that a few days difference is that big of a deal. The thing to focus on is that both babies have strong HBs and look good. Congratulations!

One if mine measured a few days behind as well around 6w. One heartbeat was 104 the other 90. She was caught up by 7w.

I didn't have a u/s till 11w5d (and at that point my boys measured about 5 days apart, but at birth they were actually very close in size) so I don't have any relevant stories to share. I'm glad to hear your RE didn't seem concerned though. KUP!

Totally normally for one to be measuring a bit behind.

I don't remember the heartbeats but my babies measured a couple days apart at the first u/s. They were just over a lb different at birth....no biggie.

Try to remind yourself that they're measuring millimeters there's a lot of room for error this early on. Mine were the same way. Baby A always measured about 5 days behind early on like that.  HB's look good so try not to worry unless the DR has said there's reason to. Congrats!!

My doctor said measuring a few days' differently is no biggie -- they probably implanted a few days apart.  With the HB, my doctor actually generally doesn't tell me the exact heartbeat, just that they are both beating in a healthy range.  I suspect this is because she knows I'm super type A and so just knowing that they are healthy will be less stressful for me than knowing their exact HB rates, which I can then overanalyze and worry about  I'm sure she'd tell me the exact numbers if I ask, but I've been avoiding doing so to avoid said hyperanalyzing.  In any event, I'm sure you're fine.  When I went in at 6w, I actually saw two sacs but only one HB, and THAT was scary.  When I went in at 7w, I saw two healthy beating hearts, so one had just been measuring a bit behind.
