I thawed out chicken in the fridge on Wednesday but something came up and i couldnt use it. Do you think I should chuck it out now? How long is chicken good for after thawed?

It's only Friday, I think it would still be OK today.  I would probably toss it if it was more than a couple of days.

I think it should be fine if it's been in the fridge the whole time. I think the rule is 3 days defrosted?

I go by the smell test. If i smells fine, use it. If not, don't. Chicken is very aromatic when it shouldn't be used.

I am sure it is fine if it's been in the fridge, but sniff it first.

I ate it. So far I'm good. Lol.

it didn't smell when I opened the package. Usually I thaw and use right away. I don't like messing with poultry dates... Well, any type of meat dates really.

The fajitas were delicious by the way thanks for the advice

Thawed chicken in the fridge as long as it has stayed there is good for 3-5 days. USDA
