Ridiculously silly/easy/stupid question

I have emailed my nurse to confirm and waiting for a response...

This is CD2 of my cycle and I had bloodwork and a transvag u/s done today to re-begin our fert testing.  They prescribed BCPs to me for the next step in the testing process-- to be started today.  I asked when I was there-- do I start with the first pill today-- she said yes.  It's been a decade or more since I have taken BCPs, so I'm not familiar with them anymore.

But when I got the Rx, I see that the pills are labeled Sunday, MOnday, Tuesday, etc...

So stupid question: start with the first pill, which is marked Sunday or the first pill marked Friday.

Sorry for the really dumb question.

Re: Ridiculously silly/easy/stupid question

  • It doesn't matter. I always started with the one marked for that day even if it wasn't pill #1 because it helped me keep track. With a lot of them now though they come with a packet insert with instructions and sometimes they have new sticker labels with days so you can re-label the days to fit your schedule. If not I would just skip to the Friday pill on row 1 and then stick with row 1 until all used then go to row two... I've just found it easier rather than having to count and your like um did I take it or not? All the active pills have the same ingredients and the same dosage so taking them "out of order" will not change anything.
