DS has never actually been sick. DH is just getting over a bad cold and DS woke up today coughing. I checked his temp and it's low 100.5 but a slight fever.
I am not interested in giving him any medicine, more looking for natural ways to help him get better. He eats very healthy, lots of fruit especially.
Thank you in advance for the ideas!
Re: How do you treat a cold in your toddler?
i very rarely do anything more than make sure she gets plenty of fluids (water, watered down juice) and rest. i maybe put vicks rub on her feet under socks at night if it gets too bad.

I don't do much. If he's obviously uncomfortable due to fever, I would give Tylenol, but I like those cool packs you can put on their foreheads too.
Mostly we just rest, drink lots of water, I make a mean home made chicken noodle soup, which is a bit of a family tradition when one has a cold.
We also use a humidifier to help, and I do think it really does!

We've been very lucky. We aren't sure why! I like to give myself credit for the first 18 months because of breastfeeding lol! After that I say it's him he's such a healthy eater. All he eats are fruits, veggies, nuts, beans...
