I use Whole Foods Vanilla Whey powder in smoothies from time to time. It's sweetened with Stevia. I asked my doctor about artificial sweeteners and he said they were fine in moderation. I used to drink a protein smoothie 6 days a week after my workouts but now I probably drink them 2-3 times a week when I don't feel like "eating". I try to stick to more "natural" forms of protein (e.g. eggs, chicken, etc.) now that I'm pregnant but sometimes I just have to have a smoothie.
Although I think you should be fine, I would check with your OB.
