Gaithersburg questions

I posted a couple of weeks ago about where to live since we are moving from out of town. DH will be working in DC and taking the metro. (We are used to commutes that are about an hour long, so no big deal.)

We're interested in some of the communities in Gaithersburg, but don't know much about them - Kentlands, Lakeslands.. anything else?

Any opinions on those? We're not used to navigating the small suburban communities and not sure what to look for. Thanks!

    I live in King Farm which is smaller version of the Kentlands, the two are about 4 miles apart.  I've heard great things about the Kentlands, especially that its extremely family friendly.  Both planned communities are great neighborhoods that I've found to be safe and convenient to stores, parks, and highways.  I don't know much about Lakeslands but I believe its very similar to the Kentlands and King Farm.
