Size 2T question

So i'm starting to look at buying 2T clothes.  Crazy!  Right now she is fitting very well in 18-24 months and i'm feeling like she will fit into them all the way til july, with a few exceptions.

Question:  How long do you think they will be in 2T?  Obviously, the growth will "kind" of slow down....Think We can expect to be in 2T for at least 8-9 months?  because i'm hoping if i buy some of these things they will fit at least untill March next year.

I also like to buy really good deals on things that i find for the next year...so i'm trying to figure out what size would be good for December-March next year.  I'm feeling 2T...What do you think? Thoughts?

I'm wondering the same question. I found a shirt for .90 at Target in size 3T and bought it for next winter. I was guessing that 2T would fit atleast until December for us anyways.

I'm not sure, but he's going to be in 18 month through winter for sure.  I got 2T for summer which I think will be right.  I think he'll be in 2T next winter too.  We'll see.

A word of warning on the Circo stuff at Target - it runs at least 1 size small.  I've always had to buy the toddler things in bigger sizes than what the kids are currently wearing.  The main issue is the length of the shirts - they're so dang short.

Every child is different, yadda, yadda.  DD1 was in a 2T before she turned 2 (maybe somewhere around 20 months) and was in that size for a while but less than a year. She's always been in the 90+ percentiles for height.  We have a hard time finding jeans long enough that won't fall down.

While I am not actually sure, I have been planning the same way you have- expecting DD to be in 2T for close to a year. I hope so anyway, because I have bought a bunch of stuff for all seasons!

Really?  Gabe wears a lot of Circo and Carter's and it seems the same to me.

Ellie's been in 2t for a few months now...just started in 24mth and 2t pants recently. I just stocked up on 3t pjs, pants, leggings which I discovered she can wear because DH put a pair on her the other day, and t shirts. Watch your brands as pp mentioned...my mom bought her a couple of 4t hoodies and they fit already....I'm thinking for us she'll be in 3t by the middle of summer, she's tall like her dad...

Nicks in all 2t stuff now, but I never really thought about how long he'll stay in it for. I guess at that point he'll wear the same size at Timmy then.

I've noticed the same thing with the shirts.  The pants he's actually a size behind though.  But that may just might be him.

I remember the onesies running a tad small but not too bad, but the toddler stuff is a really big difference, IME.

I can't really help you. My daughter I guess is a giant compared to everyone elses babies. She is in 4t and 5t. She has finally started to slow down. She does wear 3t pajamas. She is 35 inches tall and 35 pounds.

I agree with someone else chico and carters run small. 

I hang dry all my daughters clothes so no shrinking can occur.  She also wears a size 7 shoe.

My husband and I are both 6 ft tall.

lol She weighs more than my 3 year old, and is almost as tall. But to be fair he is tiny.

There is no way I think LO will be in 2T until July, much less December. He has grown 4in in the past 6m, so even if he slows way down he'll definitely be in 3T by the summer. But he is already 34in and 30lbs. I'm guessing 4T by next winter, although I don't plan to buy ahead because it's so hard to guess.
