1st PP period-?'s

Hi ladies~

I have a few questions...My LO will be 20 mths on Sunday! WOW! I have been nursing this whole time and have not had a period yet! Well last night I started cramping like I was fixing to start and this morning...Nothing! Today my legs and all are achy but still no period...I could have swore after the way I was cramping last night surely I would have started by now!

I don't know what is going on!

My questions are:

When you all had your 1st PP periods were they absolutly painful?

Did you have any signs that you were fixing to start?

And I'm sure I had more questions but can't think of them at the moment!

I'm still BFing DS plus I have an IUD so I don't get my periods at all, but since a slight decrease in BFing I can tell the time of month I should be having one, by the cramping and the hormones responsible for the little demon that lives inside me lol. I've had a couple months with very light spotting and I still cramp like in the ol' days.

I had my first pp period around 14 months when we weaned. I didn't really have any signs it was coming. My periods have been less painful. I used to get migraines before every period and I don't get those anymore. I did notice that my cycles were slightly shorter 28 days for several months, but now they are more like 30 days again.

We are doing a FET next month though so I'm on BCP now which changes everything.

I pumped for 9 weeks and about a week after stopping got my first PP AF. It was awful. I bled through a super tampon, pad, and panty liner (I wore all three when going out for a walk because I knew there was nowhere to stop along the way) within 1.5 hours. I had no sign that it was coming other than my usual CD1-3 cramps which isn't really a sign in advance. It also lasted for about 2 weeks (not bleeding that heavily the whole time, thank goodness). After that one, though, AF went pretty much back to normal.
