Do you keep cards ?

Holiday cards... Birthday cards etc

If so what do you do with them?
Or is it hoarding?

From the time I was pretty little, I kept every single card I ever got. Then, I started thinking, "Why?!" so I sorted through and only held on to the really important ones.

I don't keep holiday cards, unless its a family photo card ( from someone in my immediate family).

I do keep most other cards, especially from DH and from my parents.

I definitely need to stop or get rid of some old ones because they are starting to pile up.  I keep them in a shoe box, so it doesnt take up too much room, but its starting to get pretty full.

I keep all cards we give Aidan and Dylan and I keep the cards given to me by DH and the kids

This. It was definitely borderline hoarding, IMO. I was so proud of myself for tossing most of my Christmas cards (I did save a few though!).

I kept all the cards and letters that DH and I sent each other while I was away at basic training and all of the cards that I received after my dad passed away.  Otherwise I only save extra special ones.  I am not a very sentimental person at all when it comes to possessions/things so keeping those is a big deal to people who know me.

Toss them all!  At christmas i display them, but i'm not afraid to toss them after the holiday!

I will keep any pictures though.  but if it's a holiday picture card, i will have on fridge for awhile, but will toss when i'm ready for something new on the fridge!

Toss 'em. After having to sort through my mold filled basement after a tornado destroyed my house I realized that its not worth keeping anything...hard to explain unless youve been through it.
