1DPIUI = too early to test???

Haha.... ONLY KIDDING... let's not get our infertile panties in a bunch.  Have the day off today, so being lazy on the couch with my dog.  I'm trying to be proactive in making a list of things I'd like to get done during the awful 2WW.  So far, I'm thinking paint the guest bathroom (probably Tiffany blue) and make a new headboard for our new king sized bed that is coming Monday (we have been sleeping on my full size mattress from college for 3 years of living together). 

Any other good ideas of things to add to the list?   Need to occupy my mind

pinterest has some cool ideas for headboards! at one point in my life i thought i was crafty enough to make one out of old salvaged wood, but i was dead wrong

eta: this is what we wanted. it's made of old pallets. i gave up not even half way through lol (not that it's hard, i just didnt like the way mine was turning out)

That made me laugh out loud!  After my appt this morning, the plan is to trigger tomorrow (if no surge before then) and IUI on Sunday, so I am also looking to stay very busy during the upcoming 2WW.  I plan on working on my front yard landscaping.  Hopefully the weather is nice here in TX.  I am also attempting to stencil my entry to make it look like wallpaper...which means I'll probably end up repainting my entry soon after  

Maybe plan a closet or kitchen cabinet makeover?  Hope the two weeks go quickly for you!

I made one for our guest bedroom just out of plywood, batting, and a cool navy and white pattern fabric. Just wrap it and staple gun to the back side.  Took about an hour from start to finish.  It rests against the wall... i didn't get adventurous enough to try to attach it to anything.  It looks really cute.  My hubby wants a big wooden bed, but with the cost of all our meds and treatments, there's no way I can justify that right now.  So this may be a temporary fix...

niffie - I'm glad to hear you did the plywood, batting, & fabric & it was easy because that is what I was thinking of doing!

Also, do you keep your Christmas cards from friends & family? I plan to hole punch ours & put them on a key ring to have for every year. I've seen it on pinterest Good luck with your 2ww!

Oh man, I definitely sometimes torture myself with Teen Mom.  My guilty pleasure thought is Pregnant in Heels - I have about 10 episodes dvr'd and I only watch them on days that I'm feeling extra snarky and not sad at all.  Some of those women are so clueless it kinda makes me feel better about myself.

My RE has me test at home, then do a beta if I get a positive or no period after 14dpIUI.  So my test day is  01/23.  When is yours?  Good luck to you.
