Nausea in 3rd tri

Anybody else experiencing this? I wake up feeling sick, feel sick if I haven't ate, feel sick after I eat no matter what it is and I can't seem to figure out why. I never experienced morning sickness in my first and second tri. I'm also drinking a ton of water so I know it's not dehydration related.

Also, I know this may sound weird but it seems to make me feel even more sick when the girls are moving.

Any ideas on what to do or is this not normal and I should mention it to my doc at today's appt?

TIA

Re: Nausea in 3rd tri

  • I hear ya! I'll be in my third trimester next week, but I've had sudden terrible nausea which makes me feel like I'm not going to make it to the bathroom in time to lose it.

Talked to my OB and said it was probably very bad heartburn/acid reflux. Tums have really done the trick for me, I keep a small travel size bottle on my nightstand and in my purse for flare ups.

    Hope it might help!

  • I never had morning sickness in the first tri, but tons of nausea, and while it went away, I still get nauseous if I wait too long to eat.  Also lately, if I've just eaten and LO is very active, it makes me super nauseous.  And lastly, the last few days, I've been getting nauseous after breakfast.  Yesterday, I was brushing my teeth and ended up throwing up a little, something I've NEVER done before.  No fun!!

  • my morning sickness can still get bad- (yesterday was awful cuz of fasting for GD test).. I take diclectin (not sure what it's called in US) which helps a lot, but isn't cheap (thank goodness it's covered). Sea bands- wrist bands that use accupressure- work really well, and within minutes
