SFM: Vent because people are dumb.

So, I belong to this mom-to-mom group on FB. I posted the Dr.B's bottles that we haven't used in 3 months - over $100 worth of bottles and all three stages of nipples...for $30. I just wanted them out of my cabinet. I told the girl they had been in my cabinet forever, that they need to be cleaned, etc.

We meet, she gives me the money, and then texts me four hours later to say she's unhappy because there is DUST on the bottles and they're not clean (because of the dust). So I tell her that you're supposed to sanitize them, so that'll come off after she wipes them down with paper towel, and she insists that she wants her money back. Whatev, but I can't meet tomorrow, so she'll have to wait until Friday. She gets pissed because she expected me to leave my house at 9pm to go meet her to give her the money back (we met earlier at 4pm). You're kidding me, right? Drag by 5 month old out of bed? No gracias, chica.

I knew I should have just donated them, really. I usually have no issues with this FB group, but I don't really sell anything. It seems to me like she really just didn't have the money to spend, but spent it anyways, and now is in a hurry to get it back.

Anyways, I just had to vent. I hate dealing with stupid people. I mean, come on...it's dust. She got 5 8oz bottles, 6 4oz bottles, all with nipples, plus an extra 8 nipples for $30. If you have to clean them, which you should anyways, I really don't understand wth is the problem.

I sold some leftover size 2 diapers on kijiji. I get to the lady's house (she doesn't drive but lived pretty close) and instead of handing me the $10 she gives me $8.50. No biggie but if you didn't have the money in the first place, why not just say so.

EXACTLY. I keep telling her it'll come off when she cleans them, then she's just saying she wants her money back. Then, she's mad because I have a life and can't meet right away. She's mad because one of the nipples is ripped (I honestly didn't know and told her they sell them 2/$5 at BRU)...one out of 17 nipples? She just didn't have the money to spend.

Lmao what?? So you guys agreed on $10 prior to you going to her house and she literally gives you 8 dollars and fifty cents? Thats ridiculous! Did you remind her it was supposed to be $10? Maybe I'm being a petty btch but if she didn't have the money (whether it be an extra $1.50 or a million bucks) I would've just left the deal. Its the principle!!
