Beco ripping off a WAHM with its "new" carrier

Has anyone noticed that the "new" Beco Soleil carrier is a complete rip off of the Tula Baby Carrier? The features are virtually identical. Is anyone else frustrated that an awesome WAHM is being completely bullied and copied by Beco?

I hope that babywearing mamas will support Tula (one of my fav carriers) vs. buying this total rip off and spread the word.

The Tula, while a great carrier (I have the toddler version) is a carrier which is similar to the Ergo and Kinderpack and and and... By looking at the photo you posted of the new Beco I can see the straps are detachable which they aren't on the Tula and there is a higher head support in the style of baby hawk.

I also wouldn't classify Tula as a WAHM, it may of started like that but it's not anymore.

This is the same as the Fuzzibunz lady whining that other companies make diapers "just like hers". There are only so many options, and if you can't patent it, it's not special enough to claim as your own. If you want to set your brand apart, quality and customer service are probably the way to go.
