Flu shots and sleepyheads

I was just about to post this on the 3-6 board but realized we graduated to the 6-9 board yesterday! Where does the time go?! We started out on the preemie board. Anyway, I digress...

lo's got their flu shots today and are currently 3 hours and 15 mins into a nap. They NEVER sleep this long. In fairness they did miss their morning naps so I expected them to be tired but this is kind of crazy. Did this happen to anyone elses lo's? I'm so paranoid that they're going to get sick from it even though I know they say that can't happen.

Normal reaction. DD got her flu booster on Monday. The first shot she got in December at a morning appointment and she napped at least two extra hours that day and the following day. This time around her sleep was actually less than normal the afternoon after her mid day appointment, and yesterday too, but she has refused three bottles and was "not herself" instead. My Mom says she is back to a more normal routine and disposition today.

My DD got hers 2 weeks ago and spent the entire next day napping like crazy! Totally normal! Their little bodies are working hard to make all those flu antibodies!
