GAP Jeans

I said once that I loved my GAP jeans. Now I hate them. My favorite pair are falling apart and I haven't had them for more than 8mos! And I didn't even wear them over the summer because it was so hot! What the heck, GAP jeans? There was a random tear in them a month ago, so I patched them and it looked alright. Two washes later, there is another tear RIGHT below the patch! These jeans just aren't holding up.

Anyone recommend a different place to get good quality, nicely fitting jeans? My DH wants me to get them at American Eagle because they're slightly cheaper but I feel like that's more of a teen store and I'm a full-figured girl over here.

I am obsessed with Amythist jeans. They fit awesome and many of them are double stitched and I love them!! I am not sure if there is a Deb by you, but they sell them. I am sure other places carry them as well.

I still really really love my Old Navy jeans. They just fit this thigh-riffic body of mine the best.

Do you have a Goody's near you? They have some pretty great Levi's that I like too.

I would take your jeans back to GAP. I bet they will give you a new pair. I've been wearing their Always Skinnies for years now and never had a quality issue. Maybe you just got a lemon!

This is not what your DH wants to hear, but I love the Buckle.  I thought, previous to buying their store brand, anyone who spends $75 - $100 on jeans has a mental illness.  But I would gladly spend the same amount on 3 pairs of jeans that did not fit from Aero, Target and Old Navy....

Try it once.  See if your DH gets on board when you are wearing the same jeans, thriilled, years later.  Prior to DS, I was in year two of my favorite pair - they were silvers.  I really hope I can fit in them again someday.
