I still love the name, but stare at her sometimes and am undecided it fits her. I can't really picture her being named anything else, but not sure it "goes" with her just yet.
I think it fits, but I'm also one of those people who thinks I could have named her anything and it would have suited her eventually out of habit of saying it. KWIM? Like if there was another word for a "tree" we'd all think it was normal out of habit of saying it. I dunno, maybe that's just me. That's why I never worried about picking a name and seeing her at the hospital and thinking it didn't fit.
Although, on the other side of it, people tell me Kenzie is a fun/quirky name and that's 100% her personality.
I really do. Especially now that I get to say "Carter no!" about 100 times a day. He is such a curious and mobile child now. I love it though! It is amazing to watch him grow and learn. I'm such a proud mama!
I love love love our name and think Connor fits it well. I like calling him Connor Ryan, Connorman, or Conman more though than just saying Connor. I think he's going to be a kid who's nickname fits him more. (Like his mama was!)

I think about this ALL THE TIME!!! like, what if the sky was called the bucket? and a bucket was called a thumb, and a thumb was called a blue? and so on and so forth...
yeah... almost a weekly occurance for me! your not alone!

We call DD Emmy all the time and I think it totally fits her. She is silly and so sweet and I just think it suits her so well. But I probably would think the same if we had named her any if the names on our list. We actually rarely call her Emmeline though, and I am not sure I like it as much as her nickname. It will probably be one of those 'oh crap, mom said my whole name so she must be really mad' kind of names.

This is me. I was never one of those people who had to see my LO before deciding her name. I also always think about these crazy trend names, and wonder what common place names now were considered "crazy" way back when.
I think it's fine. We were team green and we had two boy and two girl names so we could pick the one that "fit". But in my opinion it was just a romantic ideal. Neither name felt like it fit more than the other so we picked our favorite. I'm used to my LOs name. I like the name. But I don't think it's better than another name or anything.
Adriana 100% fits her. We considered two other names, one of which I could see her as, but not as fitting as Adriana.
We didn't think the other name suited her at birth. This may sound weird, but if she had looked like DD2, that name would have fit her. But she looks more like DD1, so the feminine names fit her better than the spunky name.
Re: Your child's name...
I don't think any other name would fit for us... I think he really looks like a Kyler...
Maybe a Liam... but really... I think that would be the closest...
That is a great question!
