Tracking Ovulation

Please help me learn the ropes! Any advice, special techniques, anything? Had my follow up this morning and decided we're going the NFP route for a month or two before ttc again!

I used Fertility Friend before. I knew nothing about nothing and found it very user friendly. You can opt for the free membership, or pay for the upgrade. Personally, I would stick with the basic (free) plan for now.

I read Taking Charge of Your Fertility.

For some reason, I'm incapable of taking an accurate BBT, so I tracked cervical position and mucus. I was correct both times on my ovulation day.

ETA - both times we TTC, I fully expected it to take months, but it happened on the first cycle both times. Also, though, I got KU even though we didn't DTD for a few days before my O date.

I use the "my days" app. It is literally spot on for me. It is free and incredibly simple to use.

I used Fertility Friend both times and also read Taking Charge of Your Fertility. FF is really simple to use once you get the hang of it. The tutorials will help with that.

You still have to have patience though.  Even with tracking O dates and good timing it still took us 10 cycles to get pregnant with DD but only 2 this time.

I used Fertility Friend. I temped, checked CM, and used OPKs.

With all those things it took me 3 cycles to get pregnant but, it was the first cycle we had really good timing.

Thanks ladies! Dh applied for a new job so we're going to take a couple months off ttc in case he gets it. This way I can become familiar with myself and be ready when it is game time.
