Has anyone delivered or planning to deliver at the newly remodeled under new ownership Sentara Potomac?

    We are nearing the end of our first trimester, but we do have plans to deliver at Potomac Hospital (due date is Aug 2, 2013). We haven't toured yet and want to keep options open, but does this help?

    I delivered there on July 31. It was a great experience from the moment I drove myself there in a puddle until the time I left. You can rest easy, the staff was wonderful.

    I gave birth there in 2011. Not sure if anything has changed since then, but they seemed friendly and helpful. I had my own room for delivery and for the two day stay.
