when it rains it pours

husband is sick with the flu 3rd day of being sick/ 2 day of fever... (i wish he would learn to listen to me regarding flu vaccine) he's been quarantined to our room. leaving me with our 23 month old and 6 week old.

 Our house is a wreck due to remodeling we were hoping to work on this past weekend since this Sunday is baby's baptism/we'll have a house full of people. At this point I'm waiting on cleaning the house until husband's fever is gone doesn't pay to clean things twice. Just keeping him as separted from the rest of us as possible. Luckily I and 22 month old had flu shots so crossing fingers that no one else gets sick. 

Tomorrow I get to muddle through my 6 week check and and ENT appointment for our older daughter. Was hoping to get some work around the house done but 6 week old has fussed most of the day unless I was constantly bouncing her.  

 Sigh at this rate I'm never going to be ready.

Man, that sounds rough. I hope YH feels better soon so at least you don't have to worry about that.

This is another reminder that men so cannot handle what women can handle! Hang in there mama, you are doing amazing!
