Hubby and I are moving to King of Prussia on the 18th and I need to find a birthing and breast feeding class. Any recommendations or help with where to look? Thanks!
Do you know where you are going to deliver? I know Mainline Health System offers classes from time to time, the closest hospitals to KoP would be Bryn Mawr, Paoli, Einstein Montgomery (that's where I plan to deliver) or Chester County.
Good Luck!

I'm on the waitlist at the Birth Center in Bryn Mawr, and would really like to go there (and it's much closer) but so far I'll be at Valley Birthplace. The gal I talked to there wasn't very helpful as far as recommending classes, and said just to find any class I wanted. I guess I can call the Birth Center and ask them/sign up for their classes. Thanks!
My Birthing With Confidence 4 week group childbirth education series is being offered at Become Yoga in Lansdowne on Sundays 1-4 starting this Sunday, the 13th. There are two spots open still and registration can be done up until Saturday. There is another in March if that works better.
Classes are held at Become Yoga on Lansdowne Ave above the theater, in Lansdowne, PA, within the first block off of Baltimore Pike. About 25 min from KOP.
Price is $189 for the series. Partners are strongly encouraged.
More info here on my website www.delcodoula.com and registration can be done through the Become Yoga site found here under workshops and then click on the class you want. We'd love to have you join us in Jan or March! And my friend Kelly is offering a breastfeeding class for $30 midway through my series for 3 hrs on a Sat, I think it's the 26th. Her email is kelly@momimethod.com
Best to you on your birth and baby if we don't meet! The midwives are great at Valley BP

I'm 99% sure that you have to be delivering at the bryn mawr birth center to go to their classes. I'm sure you already called and found that out but for others who may be reading this. Good luck!
I live in Phoenixville (will be delivering at Phxville Hospital) which is maybe 20 min from KoP and I am currently taking classes at the Phoenixville Hospital. So far we have enjoyed the childbirth class and bfeeding class.
