Hi ladies,
I'm just curious what time you put your babies down for sleep. Mine usually go down around 8-8:30PM and I see a lot of others put their kids down a lot earlier and was wondering if maybe I should try doing that. I've got twins and lately their sleeping has been disruptive. I'm wondering if I'm giving them their dinner/cereal too late at 6:30ish (when I see some other babies are going to sleep) and because they are a little tired they are not eating as much as they should?? Or maybe it's just a phase; I don't know but my little guy keeps waking up at 4:30AM seemingly very hungry whereas before, he was sleeping thru until 6AM. Also, my baby girl wakes up like clockwork at 5:30-6AM and I'll take her in bed with us so she doesn't wake up her twin brother and she nurses for a few minutes and goes right back to sleep (Any advice for her would be welcomed as well)
So, between having to deal with him at 4:30 and then her at 5:30, my mornings can be quite rough! Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!!!
Re: Bedtime time
we have dinner (3-4 oz of a solid, and 2-3 oz bottle) at 5. Then at 7 we have a nighttime bottle (about 5 oz). Bath time from 730-745. Lotion massage, and usually sleeping by 8/815... Then up for the day between 630/7 am.
Sometimes he doesn't go to bed at 8 though, (weekends.... usually around 9)... and honestly... the later he goes down, the earlier he wakes up... don't ask me why/how... but it svcks lol
He gets his bedtime bottle between 7:30 and 8 and we start his bedtime routine once he finishes. He has a difficult time falling asleep so I hold him until he starts burying his head in my shoulder and then I will rock him until he falls asleep and then put him in his crib. It generally takes anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour of holding/rocking before he falls asleep, so I guess around 9 is when he gets to sleep.
