Preseed with Clomid?

I know Clomid can dry up your CM and my RE's nurse said if we need to use anything to use PreSeed but I guess I'm just looking for opinions on how necessary this was for other people. I've never had a problem with needing lube since I've been off hormonal BC and would like to avoid using it unless the opinion is I'll be pretty uncomfortable without it.

You might not need it, everyone reacts differently to clomid. I didn't need to use it with clomid but did try it a few times before we started medication. Its ok but use it sparingly if you decide to try!

I never "needed" it when I was taking clomid, but we used it internally for almost a year hoping that it would act like the fertile CM I don't get much of.  The first time I ever used preseed we did get a bfp so we kind of felt like it was a good luck charm for a while.

It looks like you're doing an IUI this cycle with the Clomid, so that will bypass any possible CM issues, but it you wanted to TI around the IUI as well then I agree with the PPs that it depends on how you might react. I didn't need preseed, but we had it just in case.

I didnt need it when i was on clomid but i also drank greentea like it was my job lol.

I never needed PreSeed... until I started Clomid! Sex without it can be uncomfortable or painful for me during medicated cycles. Ditto PP - a little goes a long way!

Sorry, should have included in my OP that my nurse said we can have sex up until my trigger shot and the Preseed is for that.
