Now I have Mastitis :(

So after dealing with a sick DS the day after we came home with DD, followed by DH and I getting the cold, DD getting RSV and having more sick days out here than well, I got mastitis after her nursing strike the other day. I have had a fever of 102.6 on tylenol and ibprophen. To make matters more frustrating my OB is on vacation and the on-call OB is out of the office until tues. Our pedi wouldn't write me a prescription either so I had to sit in Urgent Care alone with my newborn while DH stayed home with DS. I have been on bed rest the past 2 days and in alot of pain. I just can't seem to catch a break. DH goes back to work tomorrow and I am not really looking forward to dealing with all this by myself since I'm not 100%. Hoping for an easy week all things considering.

I'm so sorry. I hope you feel better soon. I'm am not going through anything near as difficult as you and I would be on the verge of a nervous breakdown if my husband were to go back to work.

That is awful!  I have heard mastitis is so painful. I hope you can get what you need to get better soon.  Good luck today!

I had mastitis w/DD2, just in time for my SIL's bridal shower. It was so.not.fun! Between the pain in my breast, the fever & chills, ugh! Hang in there and try and rest up as much as you can.

Oh wow, I am So sorry. Is DD feeling better? I really hope you get better soon. Look at it this way, (trying to be optimistic here) you're getting through all of the hard stuff now and the next year will be super easy. Right? Big hugs.

I got it today, too. Ugh. Fever of 101.5, chills, extreme exhaustion, sweating, pain.... Awful.

My doc called in some meds and I feel much better already. Hopefully you will too!
