Multi vitamin with Fluoride

The pedi prescribed the multivitamin for LO....He hates it. I normally put it in his food...I've only given it to him a handful of times. Have your LOs been prescribed this and are they taking it?

our pedi just has DD on vitamin D. For some reason, I thought extra fluoride wasn't advised because it can stain teeth with white spots? but I could be totally wrong about that...

Our pedi recommended it at our 4 month appointment. I tried giving it to DS but he spit it all back out. I quit trying for awhile because it is 8 a bottle. At our 6 month appointment, the pedi suggested putting it in his cereal. That worked.

No, they told us to give LO a little bit of tap water, as it has fluoride.

I see...We don't have fluoride in our tap water..

Our Pedi said since DS is breastfed to give him vitamin D. We buy the enfamil liquid kind and mix it with his food. He doesn't seem bothered by it.

He has only been taking it since his bottom teeth popped up. We were prescribed it at 4mo and he despised it. Now at 6mo, the first drop he does his "I hate this!" wiggle but then the rest he happily takes.

The pedi prescribed it for my LO too. He hasn't taken it yet because the pedi said I could finish up my bottle of Tri-Vi-Sol  before starting the new vitamin.

I'm not looking forward to it. I normally put his vitamin in his bottle but this new one I have to give to him in the medicine syringe. He hates taking medicine so he'll probably hate taking the vitamin too.
