When does everyone plan to start and finish their nurseries? Just curious! I don't want to get behind! Hope everyone had a great weekend!!

We are on our way to pick up the nursery furniture now. I found it online and couldn't pass it up. I'm already making the bedding and curtains so I'm way ahead of the game. I'm a huge planner and I like to have everything done way ahead of time. All we have to do is paint when we find out the sex.

I am a huge planner too! I didn't want to jinx myself getting a head start! I also purchased the crib and dresser. It's not here yet but on its way! At least I know I'm not alone in my planning ways! Thanks!

DH is working on ours now, but we are doing a complete remodel, new trim, sanding, painting, shelves and bar in closet, new rug. We did the same with DS and luckily finished at 35 weeks. I had the rug installed, furniture came a week later and 5 days later I went into labor so we just finished in time. We are doing it sooner this time because I want to transition DS into a bed in April. I want to put the crib in the new nursery and have it out of DS's sight for a couple months so he does not feel that the new baby took his crib.

I will probably start working on LO's nursery when I find out the sex. DD and LO will share the same room, so I have some major organizing to do, but I can't do the things I need to until I know if this is a boy or another little girl. If its another little girl, then I dont have a whole lot of stuff to do to the nursery. (Shooting for a boy this time tho

I am insanely jealous of those of you who can start with the nurseries, I am so far away from being able to I can't even think about it. We still have to move, hopefully, and then start the baby's room. The move is still a few months away! I think I am going to have a lot of sleepless nights trying to get everything done in time.

The room is painted and carpeted.  When we moved into the house a year and a half ago, I did it turquoise paint with tan carpet so it could be for either a girl or a boy.  When we find out the sex, I will start looking at furniture.  I'll probably just order it when I find something I like, but DH is religious/superstitious and we can't have any of the furniture in the house until the baby is born.  We live in a very Jewish area, so the stores are very familiar with this, so they hold furniture and deliver it when you call.

We are moving in March-ish and will worry about it then. I'm having fun researching and planning now though!

I'm still up in the air about a nursery. Our lease is up about a month or so after I am due and I was hoping we'd have a house by then if finances were kind to us. The first few months I was planning on just having the crib in our bedroom and then transitioning to a nursery after that point. DH seems adamant about this as well.

Right now our nursery is filled with junk, so I am hoping to get some more energy in the next few weeks to get it cleaned out.  I am thinking we'll use tax money to fix it up so maybe in February sometime MH and FIL can start.  The previous owner took off all the closet doors in the house, so they'll have to frame and drywall the top and install new closet doors.  I'd also like new, bigger baseboards put on.

Once that is all done and we find out the sex, my FIL can come over and paint whenever he wants.  He enjoys painting as long as it's a wide open room, so he can have at it.  So I hope to have the room cleaned out, new closet doors, baseboards and painted by the time MH goes back to work in late March (he gets laid off every winter).  I consider all that the hard part, then once we have our shower we can fill it with furniture.

Our furniture has been ordered and I've been pinning nursery ideas on pinterest but that's about it.

My wedding is in 2 weeks!

So after that I'm all about baby and nursery stuff! I already have picked out the nursery fabric I want to use as the "theme" and have found the crib, dresser, and changing/dresser I want online. But will wait until after the wedding to order those. I have a glider that I like but need to find it in person to sit in before I buy something like that online.

But I plan to have most of the big stuff bought in February so things can off gas in time. I can't afford super expensive "eco-friendly" furniture. So I'll do my best by buying them early.

We will probably start removing the wallpaper border soon a little bit at a time. We won't start painting and stuff until after the A/S.

We just bought a house, and we immediately painted the whole second floor, so the nursery is painted (silver sage).  My aunt is giving me all her old nursery furniture... so I think we're pretty good.  Probably in April/May I'll get the furniture down from CT to MD and then after my showers I'll finish decorating and setting up.

 I travel a lot for work, so I have a lot of cute baby animal pictures from safaris I've been on, so I'm decided to do a baby jungle theme.  I'm obsessed with this rug:

We're not really going to have a nursery, the babies are going to move in with their siblings according to gender. We're going to start buying and putting the crib in around 20 weeks when we know the genders for sure.

I painted our two extra rooms 2 years ago, both in colors that would I would want for nurseries as well.  We are keeping one as a guest room, but I am losing my office. Which I have never fully unpacked.

Work is crazy for me between March 1 & May 17... so.... I will need to clean out my office before then.   The paint needs a little touch up, and we want to add an overhead light. 

I picked out what furniture I want... and I am so tempted to order it now because it is on sale, even though we have absolutely nowhere to put it right this second.  And I have a few bedding options & curtains saved on etsy.

Basically, the big stuff will be done by March 1st,  little stuff will be taken care of as we receive items to decorate.

This LO will be moving into my DD's current nursery, so there's not much to do in the nursery.  We are however moving DD into the guet room, so I've started cleaning it out in order to get it ready to make into her big girl room.  We plan on moving her into it probably sometime in April so she has some time to adhust before the new baby gets here.

We're not going to have a nursery so... now!    I've registered for some Packers themed stuff that I plan on putting up on the wall around the "nursery" (AKA our walk-in closet) at some point but only if we get them.  I won't go out of my way to buy them.

we put in new carpet and painted when we bought the house about 2 years ago, and have some furniture, but I am going to paint hundreds of picture book characters on the walls as well as a huge tree, so I really need to get started soon

We plan to start our nursery in early-February.  We find out the gender of the baby at the end of January and I plan to clean out the spare room soon after that.  We already discussed paint colors and my Dad offered to paint the room.  I picked out the furniture I like and will order that in early-February.  Babies 'R' Us was quick on furniture for my daughter we got it within a month. I would like to finish the nursery by the first weekend of May.  I know what was those last two months are like they were really hard on me so I want get everything done by May.
