Spinning?

Does anyone else's LO do this? L has started spinning around in circles to the point where she gets dizzy... I'm not sure if I should try to stop her from doing it or let her just fall on the rug from spinning so she realizes not to do it.

I just don't want her to think it's "normal" to spin around in circles haha

Not to the extreme. But he found out that he can make himself puke by sticking fingers down his throat. Fun times. DH said he did that 8 times yesterday. My toddler is bulimic.

Violet has a flashlight and she points it at the ceiling and spins in circles until she falls down.  I have never thought twice about stopping her spin.  BTW  I think spinning is normal for kids at least.

Luca spins when he hears music, it's part of his dance routine. It's adorable!

Lo spins, E still does sometimes. It is totally normal for kids. I pick both my kids up and spin them around, they love it.

This! Both my kids soon, although its called twirling in this house. I also pick them up and spin them. It's one of their favorite games! Nothing wrong IMO.

Gator spins! She only has to go around like four times before she is dizzy and falls down.

Yep, G spins a bit. They do it in gymnastics for roll call!

Haha that's what I was thinking about when I wrote this! I used to love that game. It's funny you say that adults would do it, if it were acceptable, because my college roommate used to do this (sober lol).

Thanks for your input ladies. I'm glad to hear that it actually is normal for kids to spin. Maybe I should start spinning along with her haha

I think, it's totally normal. She started doing it when she was dancing and now just does it for fun sometimes.

Aubriella has just started this recently too. I don't see it as anything bad it is normal. My only fear is I have a scar on my eye from when I did it when I was about 7 or 8 I was spinning real fast and feel and hit the bottom of the entertainment stand. But bruises and cuts are going to happen.

yup, he enjoys spinning especially if there's music on. It's part of his dance move. He'll get himself dizzy, fall down and laugh about it.
