Any tips for baby acne?

DD2 has it all over her face, chest, neck and back. Poor kid! It's totally from her spitting up so much; it's in the exact path of the spit up when she's laying on her back at night.

We've been using Dove sensitive unscented when we wash her, but I don't know if I should use it too much in fear of causing dry skin. How often can I wash her w soap and water? Is there something better to use? Also, pedi said no lotion as it will make it worse.

I've heard BM is supposed to help but I never tried it. I did wash it with warm water and a washcloth twice a day, pat dry, no soap.

I just left it alone and it went away after a month or so. I think it just takes time for the hormones to balance out.

We used CA Baby, but I don't know that it did much. I just read that it was normal and it went away after a few weeks.

DD still has one lingering, we use CA Baby and Nature's baby organics [the vanilla tangerine, it smells sooooo good, like a 50/50 bar]. I read that it's supposed to clear within 3 mo, but we're pushing 4 now. It won't stay forever though! Also, we just use cloth wipes with water.

DD had it pretty bad along with eczema. Pedi suggested 1 percent hydrocortizone cream and Vanicream. Works great.

SIL swore by aquaphor lotion. We used it and it seemed to work.

Ava had it pretty bad, and it went away once I stopped washing her face during bathtime. I only wipe off with a cloth and warm water what gets on her face when I bathe her. I put Aveeno baby lotion (Eczema treatment) all over her body and face once every other day. It went away after 4 days when I started doing that. I have heard BM helps too. Haven't tried it since I didn't hear about it until hers had already disappeared!
