Bath time?!

I was registering today and realized there are soo many different types of baths/bath aids for bathing your new born/baby.

 Any advice on which is best or the type I will need.  I don't want anything fancy just whatever will work.

 

Here are two types I narrowed it down to (polar opposites as far as types).  But any thoughts/recommendations are welcome!

My only suggestion is to get something with a bit of foam for the slipping around. We were given 2 tubs as hand me downs and ended up hating the one with a mesh sling once she was to big for the sling part. The one we use is very simple and has a bunch of foam lining the inside, it helps keep DD from slipping when she kicks and splashes.

If I were you I would not get the first on it is $$$ and would be a pain to store. Simple and light is the way to go.

Someone gave us one of the whirlpool baths as a hand me down. We never used it! Weended up just using our big tub with the mesh sling until she could sit up. I also bathed with her a lot.

I can't see your links in my phone, but we have the whale of A Tail from BRU and he still uses it at 8 months. Never had a problwm using it. Very similar to many other tubs, any of which would be great.

get something simple that will dry fast.  Realistically when they can sit up you will be putting them in the big tub.

I agree with PP's....think simple and basic.  My DH also wanted the whirlpool one when we registered and I talked him out of it.  We got a frog one from BRU.  Worked great!

I use a pad to lay DS down on in the big tub. No need for a plastic tub to take up space in my house.
