Red cheeks?

Ever since ds and started sleeping on his belly he cheeks have been red. I though it was just from drooling and rubbing but then I just saw something on the 69 month board about fifths disease and now I'm worried its that and I have been oblivious. Some days it goes away a little whole after waking and I have been putting aquaphor on. Should I call the doc Monday or could it be just from sleeping on his cheek and rubbing his face?

  • Fifths disease usually shows as a fever first and then a rash there's nothing you could do about it anyway. If it was that it has to just run its course. Honestly it's probably just from him rubbing his face in the sheets.

  • Rob gets red patched on his face, but he doesn't sleep on his stomach. Our doctor said it was eczema and to use hydrocortizone  cream. It works pretty well.

Thanks all for your input I figured it was just irritation but I wanted some other opinion because all I found when I googled fifths disease was red cheeks I know I know don't google but it happened . No he doesn't go to daycare and we haven't been exposed to fifths disease so............ Ill quit being paranoid and continue using aquaphor :)
